Trekking in Jeolikot
The countryside around Jeolikot is ideal for nature walks and simple treks. Since the Kumaon region is a hilly, trekking trails can range from mild to difficult.

One can also come across flora and fauna- fruit bearing trees, seasonal flowers and sweet scented shrubs, different species of butterflies and birds while trekking around Jeolikot.

Pangot & Kilbury Bird Sanctuary
From Jeolikot, one can also visit the small village of Pangot. A popular stop enroute is the Kilbury bird sanctuary which has amazing view of the snow clad peaks and is home to over 240 species of birds.
