Haridwar
Gateway to holiest pilgrim the Char dham Yatra, Hari-Dwar the name itself depicts the meaning "Gateway to God" located on the banks of river Ganges in the state of Uttarakhand. Haridwar is considered as one among the sapta-puris (seven sacred cities) as according to Hindu mythology Gods are believed to have left their footprints in Haridwar. Also it is one of the 4 places where drops of amrit or nectar spilled over while being carried by the Garuda the heavenly bird and the spot is known as Brahma kund or Har-ki-Paudi. It is also the venue for the famous Kumbh Mela which takes place only once in 12 years.

Barkot
Barkot a popular hill station in the state of Uttarakhand set at an alleviation of 1220 mts above the sea level. Lies in the higher ranges of Himalayas the hill station receives the source of water from our two holiest rivers The Ganges and The Yamuna.
