    Tour Highlights:

    • Visit to Raj Ghat where the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi was cremated.
    • Jama Masjid the larget Mosque in India, built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the year 1650. It took 6 years to get this mosque completed.
    • Red Fort located in the heart of Delhi the Fort is known for its gigantic walls of red stone, built by the Fifth Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. It used to be the main residence of Mughal Dynasty for around 200 Years.
    • Chandni Chowk one of the oldest and busiest markets of Old Delhi. It is the best place to shop in, was once visited by the merchants form Turkey, China and Holland.
    • Built in 1193 by Qutab-Ud-Din Aibak after he defeated the Last Hindu Kingdom 'Qutub Minar' is a 73-meter high tower of victory. The Tower has five storeys, first three floors are made of red stone and the fourth and top floor made of marble and sandstone.
    • India Gate dedicated to the 70,000 Indian soldiers who fought for British Army in the World War 1. The foundation stone was laid by His royal Highness and designed by Edwin Lutyens.
    • Lakshmi Narayan Temple, also known as the Birla Mandir built by the Industrialist Shri J.K. Birla in the year 1939. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi of Prosperity and Narayana the Preserver.
    • Humanyu's Tomb the first considerable example of Mughal Architecture in India. Built in 1565 A.D. after the death of Humayun by his widow Bega Begam.
    • Lotus Temple, in the shape of Lotus also known as the Bahai’s Temple in the year 1986. It is the last of 7 major Bahai’s Temple around the world.
    • The circular shopping street 'Connaught Place' named after George V's uncle, the Duke of Connaught.

    • Itmadullah's Tomb, known to be the draft of Taj Mahal and also known as the 'Baby Taj'. It is the very first Tomb in India entirely made of Marble.
  • Day 1: Arrive Delhi
    Arrive Delhi. Assistance on arrival. Transfer to hotel for overnight stay in Delhi.

    Day 2: Delhi
    Morning tour of Delhi includes a visit to the sombre Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana - the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. The next stop is Old Delhi where you can visit Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort and later walk around the labyrinthine lanes of Chandni Chowk, the quintessential Indian bazaar selling everything under the sun. In the afternoon, visit the Tower of Victory, Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch ), Lakshminarayan Temple - a colourful Hindu Temple and Lotus Temple which offer a respite from the din. Also drive past the bastions of political power- Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings and President's House. Visit the Connaught Place shopping hub of Delhi. Overnight stay in Delhi hotel.

    Day 3: Delhi - Jaipur
    Morning drive to Jaipur. On arrival check in at hotel. Afternoon tour of Jaipur. Jaipur - the capital of Rajasthan is also called the 'pink city'. It owes this sobriquet to the fact that it was given a colour coat of pink a century ago in honour of a visiting Prince and ever since, it has retained this colour. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old and a good example of one of India's most planned cities. Visit the royal family's City Palace, the Observatory 'Jantar Mantar' & Ram Niwas Gardens. Drive past Hawa Mahal admiring its towering presence as well as through the residential and commercial areas. Overnight stay at Jaipur.

    Day 4: Jaipur
    Morning visit to Amber Fort taking the popular elephant ride till the main entrance of the fort. Amber served as the ancient capital of the State. A must visit is the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirror work. Rest of the day is free and a visit to Chokhi Dhani resort is optional. Envisioned in ethnic rajsthani style, this resort organizes several fun activities like, camel ride, puppet show,snake charmer and handloom exhibition as well as song and dance performances. You will be treated to specialised Rajasthani/continental dinner as well. Return to hotel for the overnight stay.

    Day 5: Jaipur - Agra
    Drive to Agra enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri , once a flourishing city during the reign of the Mughals. Fatehpur Sikri is 40 kms from Agra and was built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 but abandoned after 15 years due to water scarcity. See the elegant buildings which includes prominent structures such as the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Sufi saint Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal and other Palaces. Continue drive to Agra and upon arrival, spend the rest of the day at will. Stay overnight at Agra hotel.

    Day 6: Agra - Delhi
    Morning visit to the world famous, one of the seven wonders of the world and the symbol of eternal love - Taj Mahal. The masterpiece of Mughal architecture was built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Later visit the Agra Fort which encloses the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of Public and Private Audience and other structures. Also, visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah, built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father.

    Afternoon drive to Delhi for your onward journey. On your way, take in the old flavour of this historical city.
